As Lynny M steps up to the mic she taps into a deep well of life experience.

As Lynny M steps up to the mic she taps into a deep well of life experience. Her voice crackles with a depth that resonates with listeners as they take in the stories Lynny M revels in telling. Always appearing on stage draped in her signature green flourishes, Lynny has steadily built a reputation as a rising talent of the blues and roots scene.

Based in Warrnambool/Maar/Gundjmara country, Lynny found her voice as a part of the local music community where she regularly takes part in grassroots choirs and local arts events. Lynny has also played headline shows along the Victorian coast, opened for Daniel Champagne and performed at multiple festivals (Port Fairy Jazz, Warrnambool Storytelling 2023, Uncle Lenny Clarke Concert for YES).

It’s no surprise that Lynny has landed where she is today, having fostered a deep affinity with creative communities through her three years operating Loft Live Music venue and volunteering at the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Her peers have recognised her pursuits, bestowing her with both the Warrnambool City Council Australia Day Award and a Rotary Community Peace Award.

Before recently taking some time out to re-evaluate and re-focus on developing her storytelling and songwriting, Lynny co-penned and recorded the haunting ballad Marino with musician Craig Pilkington (a founding member of revered Australian band The Killjoys). Lynny is now ready to return to the stage to begin the next stage of her musical evolution.
