Warrnambool | A City for Living

Stacey Barnes

Stacey is an artist, arts worker, and facilitator whose work spans workshops, activations, events, and creative sector development, driven by creativity, colour, and connection.

Stacey Barnes is a multi-passionate creative originally from the UK, now based in Warrnambool, whose visual arts and craft-based practice is shaped by curiosity, sustainability, and a touch of whimsy.

With a background in marketing, communications, tourism, events, and community development, she brings a creative and strategic approach to her work, with people at the heart of everything she does.

She is the founder of My Crafternoons, delivering public, private, and online workshops that spark joy, creativity, and connection. Stacey creates welcoming spaces where people can build confidence, develop skills, and reconnect with their creativity. Whether for a wellbeing day, celebration, or event, her workshops leave people feeling inspired, proud of what they’ve made, and more connected to themselves and those around them.

Alongside My Crafternoons, Stacey works in creative sector development and can be persuaded to lend her magic to fun creative projects, consulting work, producing, and MCing events. She welcomes collaborations across workshops, brand and event activations, creative projects, craft-based installations, public art, and speaking opportunities.
